My first crocheted bookmark 📚🧶

Mein erstes gehäkeltes Lesezeichen 📚🧶

Since my community already loves my drawn bookmarks from the shop so much, an idea came to me at some point:

Why not crochet a bookmark for once?

No sooner said than done.

I particularly liked that I was once again inspired by a wonderful Threader. Coincidentally, we were both working on the same project – even with the same video tutorial. Somehow, it feels like crocheting together, even though everyone is at home.

My first crocheted bookmark... well... it didn't turn out quite as I had imagined. 😄

It ended up a bit too long, and I crocheted the stitches too loosely. As a result, the beautiful arrow pattern and the small openings in the middle are unfortunately not as clear.

But you know what?

I'm still incredibly happy with it.

Because I notice how much more confident I'm becoming with counting. I have to think less and less often, I remember the processes, and I notice how I learn a little bit more with each project.

Of course, an idea immediately came to me:

Will there ever be crocheted bookmarks in my shop?

The honest answer is: I don't know yet.

At the moment, the thought feels strange. For me, crocheting is still a real challenge. At the same time, I know that many people could probably crochet such a bookmark themselves in a short amount of time. Somehow, it feels strange to offer something like that.

Maybe this view will change someday. Maybe not.

And that's why I'd be interested in your opinion:

Would you buy hand-crocheted bookmarks, even though you could theoretically crochet them yourself? Or do you find the craftsmanship and the time invested in them particularly valuable?

I'm really curious to hear what you think. 💛
