When crocheting, there are those little moments when you think:
"This is going to be super easy."
...and five minutes later you're sitting there, looking at your work and wondering how that could have happened. 😄
To better learn the magic ring and double crochets, I once again picked out a video tutorial (which I will, of course, link to you here). This project, like almost all my crochet adventures lately, was also created live in the stream.
And what can I say?
I struggled quite a bit along the way.
In the end, it was supposed to be a heart.
Instead, I crocheted... a circle. 😂
I had to laugh so hard because it immediately reminded me of my childhood.
When I learned to write, my name somehow always ended up in a circle. No matter what lines I wrote on, everything eventually curved to the right and became round. In fact, it's still difficult for me to write truly straight even today.
Maybe my brain just thought:
"Straight? No thanks. We're making circles." 😄
Will that now spread to crocheting too?
I hope not.
But these are exactly the moments I love about this journey. Not everything has to be perfect right away. You're allowed to laugh, make mistakes, and still be proud of what you've created in the end.
And who knows...
Maybe my circle will actually turn into a heart on the next attempt. 💛
